Recruitment of Electoral Registration Canvassers 2018

Derbyshire Dales District Council will begin the annual canvass of households on 1 August and are currently looking to recruit additional canvassers to cover as much of the area as possible. Neighbourhood Watch relaunches in Curbar to help keep residents safe

Curbar Parish Council Vacancy for Clerk/RFO

Curbar Parish Council is looking to recruit a new Clerk/ Responsible Financial Officer to provide support and advice in all aspects of the Councils' work. Curbar is a small Parish Council and Councillors meet on 1st Thursday evenings on alternate months of the year, with occasional additional meetings for planning and Annual Parish Council Meetings.

Recycling Centre Charges Removed in Derbyshire

on May 9th, Derbyshire County Council wrote: Charges for residents taking building and demolition waste to our nine household waste recycling centres have been removed.

Charges were introduced on Monday 3 April 2017 to help pay Derbyshire's £37.2m waste bill each year.
